Lina is a 5-year-old Peruvian girl, who becomes the youngest mother in history by giving birth to a baby boy. She was born on 14 May 1939 and she was also one of the nine children of her parents. She gave birth to a male baby, who was 2.7 kg in weight and was named Gerardo Alejandro.
This diagnosis was also very rare and strange at the same time for all the doctors who looked after her medical condition. Around the age of five her belly started growing excessively which raised the concerns for the same.
At first, the local people and her parents thought it was some kind of curse or her pregnancy was termed as a tumor, but after running several medical examination tests and surveys it was diagnosed that she was seven months pregnant.
It was believed that she had gone through precocious puberty which is considered to be a rare scientific condition where children go through puberty at an early age. According to the medical reports of the time, published by the researcher Edmundo Escumel in his journal, he exclaimed that Lina had a very early body development. She had her first menstrual cycle at only eight months.
In any case, at the age of four, she was already in the middle of puberty, with her b*easts already being developed. Scientific research believed it to be a hormonal disorder of the pituitary origin of the line.

In adulthood, Lina Medina Vásquez worked as a secretary in the Lima clinic of Lozada, which educated her and helped her son in high school. She had a normal life after that and got married in 1972, following which she had another child. The son she gave birth to when she was five, grew healthy but died at the age of 40 from bone marrow disease in 1979.
The news of her son’s made it to the headlines, but more details about her existence are not known since there is no recent information or obituary news about her on social media platforms. Lina has consistently refused to discuss her personal life, which has contributed to limited public knowledge about her and her family.
