Just like how people are curious about the lives of children of celebrities, they’re also curious about to lives of children of criminally minded people. They want to know how the criminal record and tendencies of serial killers impact the children who grow up in constant contact with them. In this article, we will explore the life of the infamous Toy Boy’s killers daughter and her criminal history.

Who was Glenda Jean Ray’s father?

Gelnda’s father David Parker Ray, also known as The Toy-Box Killer, was a notorious serial killer and torturer from New Mexico. Born on November 6th, 1939 in Belen, New Mexico, he received his education at Mountainair High School located in Mountainair, New Mexico.

During his school years, he reportedly suffered from extreme shyness that resulted in him being bullied by his peers. Following his graduation, he joined the United States Army as a general machinist.

David Parker Ray’s father contributed to the development of his s*xual obsession, which ultimately led him to become a corrupt individual. He kidnapped at least six women in a single year and subjected them to four months of tormenting, using a different pattern for each victim.

Shockingly, he involved his dog and wife in the process of torturing these women. After the harassment period ended, David drugged his victims to erase their memories and left them by the roadside. As a result of the torture of at least 60 women and attempted murder, David was sentenced to a lengthy prison term after one of his managed to escape and inform the police.

On May 28th, 2002, David passed away from a heart attack while incarcerated at Lea County Correctional Facility in Hobbs, New Mexico, U.S. His net worth was estimated to be approximately 1.5 million dollars.

Personal Life of Glenda Jean Ray

Glenda Jean Ray, born in 1986 and raised in New Mexico, was the daughter of David Parker Ray, otherwise known as the Toy-Box Killer. During her teenage years, Glenda began working as a secretary and bookkeeper for her father’s business, subsequently becoming his partner.

Glenda took part in luring young women from clubs to her father’s mobile torture chamber by drugging their drinks. Although initially only David Patrick Ray was apprehended, following the timely escape of his final victim, the authorities later uncovered evidence of Glenda’s complicity in her father’s crimes after listening to taped recordings made by Ray.

In 1999, Glenda Jean Ray pleaded guilty to a range of charges including kidnapping, r*pe, and s*xual assault. As a result, she received a sentence of 16 years behind bars. Her father David Parker Ray, who was sentenced to life in prison for his heinous acts, died in 2002.

Due to a deal reached with prosecutors, Glenda Jean Ray received a sentence of two-and-a-half years and five years probation for her role in kidnapping, after her father ultimately pleaded guilty to numerous charges.

It is possible that Jesse Ray was able to avoid being charged with murder, as Dennis Yancy, a friend of hers, was convicted of strangling Marie Parker in 1999 and claimed that David Parker Ray had taken photos of the assault and alleged that he and Jesse Ray were involved in the killing.

Although investigators were able to link Ray to the assault, there was no proof that either he or Jesse Ray was accountable for Parker’s death. As of now, Jesse Ray’s current whereabouts are unknown.
